THE CHRISTMAS CITY EXPRESS
The performance of the Christmas City Express begins in the Lake Superior Railroad Museum, where you'll be treated to a reading of the
new Christmas City Express story, enjoy carolers, and a visit from a special guest! Then, climb aboard the train for a 30 minute ride up to Lake Superior. Onboard, enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and holiday tunes.
Show times at 4:15, 5:15, 6:15, and 7:15* (*except Sunday), Sundays have an early 3:15pm added. The full experience is about 90 minutes.
You can also pre-purchase the book with your tickets to pick it up when you arrive.
Wheelchair Information: The performance of the story is accessible, however the train ride is not, due to the historic nature of the equipment. Boarding the train requires about 4 steps up to the level of the train. Limited mobility patrons should consider extra time for walking to the train from parking.
Ages 2 and under are free and do not need a ticket or reservation (they just come with). There is walking distance to reach the boarding area, however the only steps required are those to board the train (about 4 steps). Please allow extra time for parking and to reach the museum, especially with limited mobility passengers.
Terms of sale: ticket sales are final at the point of purchase. No cash or credit refunds will be issued. If cancelled up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled train, an exchange of date, time or excursion may be permitted by the ticket office agent. If you cancel within 48 hours from the excursion, or miss your scheduled excursion, no exchange, or transfer, nor cash or credit refund will be available.
