Autism Friendly Summertime Excursions
This new event is geared specifically for our Autism spectrum and Sensory processing disorder friends in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Seating is not assigned, but can be chosen at your leisure in any of our two open air cars, three passenger cars and caboose. There will be the sound of the train whistle at crossings. Reservations are not required, but are available. The ride is 1 hour and 10 minutes, Rain or Shine. This sensory-friendly event is closed to the general public and exclusive to those on the autism spectrum and similar needs.
Diesel switching engine Cab rides available on a Opening Day! A second train will be operating on the north end of the line every 30-minutes from 9am- 3pm. Price for the cab rides are $25 per person, and reservations are required.

Hand on the Throttle
Enjoy the unique "Hand on the Throttle" opportunity inside a coal-fired Steam Locomotive with one of our experienced engineers. You must be 18 years of age, posses a valid driver's license , wear closed-toed shoes, long pants and a long-sleeved shirt. We recommend you also wear eye and ear protection, gloves and a hat. Tickets are $100 for 30-minutes. Space is limited, and reservations are required.
Murder Mystery Dinner Train
Ride behind a real 90-year-old, coal-fired steam locomotive, the restored Jeddo Coal Co. #85 (aka MACK). Be sure to have your camera ready for some memorable photos. We'll have two open flat cars behind the steamer, plus two enclosed cars and a caboose.
